See also the copy of an advertisement on the Specifications page, from the time this boat was bought in '79. This model was initially called a "26", and the photo is of this boat. Designer Robert Perry is one of those in the cockpit. He came up to Whitby to sail the boat and see how well his design had been built by Ouyang. Apparently he was very impressed with the hull/deck joint, and generally pleased with the rest. At the time he sailed it in the summer of '79, there was no interior trim. All the teak was added after the boat was purchased, and before it was used as the show boat for the Ontario Place Dockside show that September.
