Smyril - Norman Munnery

"Smyril" is Faroen for the Merlin a small swift little coastal bird that inhabits the northern islands of Europe and seas coasts. It is also the name of the Ferry service that runs between The Faroes, Iceland, Shetland Islands, Norway and Denmark. It is for me the most romantic of all ferry services following as it does those great sea sagas of the Vikings.
