Anyone replaced the water and fuel fill O rings?
« on: May 24, 2019, 10:32:45 AM »
The O rings for the water and fuel fill on our A32 are in pretty poor shape.

Has anyone replaced theirs? I'm curious if anyone knows the proper size?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,
I did replace mine, and got spares as well.
I just brought the old ones into a o-ring and gasket supplier, the industrial kind.
I don't know the size exactly but i suppose I could measure a new one with a caliper.
Mine measure in at: 1/8 in cross section and about. 2-1/4 in OD. I have the Atkins an hoyle deckfittings.

This posts reminds me to change my fuel fill oring. It's not looking very good again..

I did mine - O ring has 2" inner diameter.

Just measured mine - it also has a 2" inner diameter and 1/8 thickness.
Couldn't find them locally for a reasonable price but Amazon had the proper silicone versions at 10 for $14.
I noticed there are many O rings the proper size (on Amazon) that are made for web belts. Not sure these would hold up as well as the "plumbing grade" versions.
