I'm getting a Google 400 error.  Tried it several times.  Any suggestions?

Sorry Julie, I've just seen this entry now.

I'm not a big fan of this Google Map application, but it was free.  There is also a free downloadable app at the Android Playstore called 'My Maps' which you could try.... but I don't know how my link is pasted in...

If you have tried using My Maps or an old Windows laptop to edit the map and can't get it to work let me know and I'll add you to it.

IN FACT if anyone is having issues, private message me with your email and I'll add you to the map.
[Dennis Clarke has just done that as he's sold his boat.  :( I guess we won't see him here anymore as I think he's deleted his ID]

For the map I would need:
-your name(s)
-boat name
-boat length
-location including marina/mooring/club
-hull # if you've got it
-some people list their email addresses, while I've listed my Instagram name (whatever you like or nothing)

Regards, Bill H (and happy new year)

Hi Bill.   I see that I am no longer on the list and I am having troubled finding how to add my boat back.  Could you give a little primer on how to add a new boat to the map?   Bruce  (Okaga)

I'll try Bruce.
Once you have the map opened, zoom into your marina/dock
You should see something like the image I've attached.
Click on the Legend to open it if it isn't already.
Deselect all boat types except yours and then click anywhere on the map to get back to it.
Click on the upside-down teardrop and add your boat by clicking on your location. Add your boat name, your name etc. And click save.
Remember to reselect all boat types again in the Legend.

If you don't see what I have in my screenshot you don't have edit permission for some reason. PM me and I'll help out
Here's the link again:

Sorry Bill, no go.  I close all except A32s and find no upside-down teardrop or any other way of adding a location.  Bruce

If this doesn't work try different hardware. It worked on my wife's  Android phone. OR send me an email with your email address....  I hate technology. ...
