Unfortunately I haven't received sufficient entries featuring enough different boats to make this practical. My thanks to those that did submit pictures, but I am afraid the 2006 Photo Competition and 2007 AOA Calendar are cancelled.

===========================================================
The 2006 Photo Competition to select 13 pictures for the 2007 Calendar is now underway!- The competition is open to anyone who wants to submit up to 6 pictures of an Aloha including AOA members, A34 owners, friends of members, etc.
 - Pictures submitted for the 2005 competition are not eligible to be entered again this year.
 - Entries will need to be landscape (i.e. horizontal) JPEG images of 2 mega-pixel or greater (about 1600 x 1200 and usually about 350 Kb filesize and upwards). We'll be reducing the size and compressing them for display on the competition site, but using the full size originals in the calendar.
 - The photos for the calendar will chosen by secret vote and the people submitting the top 3 entries will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar as their "prize". There was some disappointment that the entries that made it into the 2006 calendar didn't include representatives of every model. For the 2007 calendar we will be including the highest placed 27, 28, 30, 32 and 34 pictures, plus the 8 other highest scoring pictures.
 - Entries will be accepted September 14th to October 3rd - please send your pictures to email address photocomp@alohaowners.com. If the total size of your email and attachments will exceed 2Mb, please send as several emails each with just one or two pictures attached.
 - Once entries close, the pictures will be displayed and voting will be held between October 4th to the 14th, with the results to be announced immediately afterwards.

Just one tip from observing the voting last year - while I'd like as many entries as possible, if you have several very similar shots then rather than enter them all, it's probably best to choose and submit your favourite so that votes will get focused on that picture rather than split between them. A couple of entrants probably missed the "top 13" just for this reason last year.
Get the photos rolling in, and good luck to all who enter.
